DiAnn Lindquist (Krentz)
DiAnn Lindquist (Krentz) is the founder of Lindquist Krentz, PC. Her legal career began in 2002 as a contract writer for an appellate law firm. She eventually joined the firm as an appellate specialist and partner. Since 2002, Ms. Lindquist has crafted numerous winning briefs, motions, and oral arguments on issues of first impression in Colorado trial and appellate courts including criminal questions, property, contracts, family law, and procedural, constitutional, and statutory interpretation. Her publication credits also include chapters in West’s Colorado Appellate Law and Practice related to brief-writing and procedure.
Ms. Lindquist’s passion for family law, and particularly issues involving the interests of children, developed in 2004 when she authored the winning Supreme Court briefs in Spahmer v. Gullette and In re Marriage of Ciesluk – companion cases that set precedent in Colorado for child relocation and removal cases. After the cases were announced in 2005, Ms. Lindquist’s exclusively-appellate practice became increasingly focused on advocacy for parents with child-related issues.
By 2008, Ms. Lindquist was determined to provide Colorado families with a full range of post-trial services in district courts as well. Lindquist Krentz, PC, is a unique law firm that focuses on post-judgment issues affecting grandparents, parents, and children. While LKPC still provides expert advocacy in appeals, it also handles remands from successful appeals, modifications of all issues created by Permanent Orders, and enforcement of family law orders. LKPC is particularly experienced in high-conflict cases, but is equally proficient in amicable, uncontested, no-frills, and low cost divorce and domestic matters.
Lindquist Krentz, PC boasts a team of competent and compassionate personnel who listen and truly care about the families they serve.
Ms. Lindquist still serves as a contract brief writer for law firms across the country and as a consultant at trial to ensure the preservation of issues for appeal. She has consulted on relocation and removal cases in Colorado, Utah, California, Arizona, South Dakota, Montana, New Mexico and Florida. Ms. Lindquist is a frequent guest speaker and panelist on the topics of relocation and removal.
